Accessibility statement

Human Pro wants everyone to be able to use human-pro.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or other assistive technology. This statement explains how accessible the website is, what we know still needs work, and how to reach us if something does not work for you.

Which standard do we follow?

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) refers to for online shops. The website partially meets this standard: most of it does, but the parts listed below do not yet.

What have we done?

  • Every page has its language set, a skip link to the main content and clear landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer).
  • Buttons, links and form fields have accessible names, and most of the shop can be used with a keyboard.
  • Product images have text descriptions (alt text).
  • Frequently asked questions are real headings with buttons that announce whether they are open or closed.
  • Body text and small print meet the WCAG contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.

What is not optimized yet?

  • Parts of the website come from other companies: product reviews (Yuko), payment in instalments (Klarna), subscriptions (Appstle) and the cookie banner (Consentmo). We do not control their code, and some of their buttons have missing labels. We are reporting these issues to the suppliers.

We reply within five working days and, if we cannot fix it straight away, we will help you place your order another way.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (Autoriteit Consument & Markt, ACM), which supervises the accessibility of online shops in the Netherlands.

About this statement

This statement was written on 4 October 2026 and is based on our own checks of the website (automated tests with Lighthouse and axe, plus manual checks). We review it at least once a year and after major changes to the website.
