What this batch measured, what it was measured against, and the laboratory's own certificate.
These are the laboratory results for our Mushroom Essentials Complex, made from the same extracts in the same facility. Lion's Mane has its own certificate published here as soon as its next batch is released.
A supplement is easy to claim and hard to check. So we publish the figures rather than describing them: the result for the batch in your hand, the limit it was measured against, and the name of whoever set that limit.
Every batch is tested before it is released. Nothing ships on the strength of a previous result.
What the current batch measured
Each row carries its own maximum and the source of that maximum — some are set by EU law, some are our own specification, and where no maximum exists we say so rather than borrowing one from another food category.

Regulation (EU) 2023/915 sets maximum levels for lead, cadmium and mercury in food supplements. It sets none for total arsenic, so the maximum in that row is our own specification and is named as such.
The microbiological limits are our own specification. There is no EU maximum for these parameters in a dried mushroom extract.

Checked by an independent laboratory
Every batch is tested in our own laboratory. Separately, samples go to Eurofins — a laboratory with no connection to us — so that our own results are checked by someone who does not work for us.

Reading the numbers
Why is the arsenic maximum your own, and not the law's?
Because EU law does not set one. Regulation (EU) 2023/915 sets maximum levels for lead, cadmium and mercury in food supplements, and none for total arsenic. Maximum levels for arsenic do appear in that regulation, but for other food categories — quoting one of those here would mean attributing a limit to a law that does not set it. So the maximum in that row is ours, and the column says so. Where a row carries no maximum at all, neither the law nor our own specification sets one, and we would rather leave it blank than borrow a number.
What does BLQ mean?
Below the limit of quantification: present at a level too low for the instrument to put a number on, if present at all. It is a stronger result than a small number, not a missing one.
Who sets the limits in the table?
The column says so on every row. Heavy metals are set by EU law. Microbiological limits and a few others are our own specification, because no EU maximum exists for them in a dried extract — we would rather name our own number than leave the column blank.
Why do you test in your own laboratory at all?
Because testing every batch externally would mean testing less often, and frequency is what catches a problem. Our own laboratory tests each batch before release; an independent laboratory checks our work periodically. Both sets of figures are on this page and the certificates say which is which.
How often is this page updated?
When a batch is released. The batch code printed on your jar or pouch is the one to look for — if it is not here yet, the results are still being added.

Publishing a result you have not read is the same as not testing at all. Every number above comes off the laboratory's own report, and the report is on the page beside it.
