| Compound | Result | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Fulvic acid | 87.97% | The marker used to judge whether Shilajit is genuine |
| Moisture | 16.56% | Resin holds water; potency is measured against the sample as received |
| Substance | Result | EU limit (2023/915) |
|---|---|---|
| Arsenic (As) | 0.072 mg/kg | 1.0 mg/kg |
| Cadmium (Cd) | 0.019 mg/kg | 1.0 mg/kg |
| Lead (Pb) | 0.133 mg/kg | 3.0 mg/kg |
| Mercury (Hg) | BLQ | 0.10 mg/kg |
All four results comply with Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/915. BLQ means the level was too low for the instrument to quantify.
The heavy metal analysis is accredited. The fulvic acid result is marked Non-Accredited on the report, and is measured titrimetrically by method EASI CHE SOP 71.
You can verify the authenticity of these lab results on our test results page.

Sourced in the Himalayas 🏔️
Shilajit is not farmed. It forms over centuries as plant matter and minerals compress inside high-elevation rock, and it can only be collected where that has happened.
Ours comes from the Himalayas at around 4,000 metres, is purified and filtered rather than heat-dried, and is tested in India before it ships - not after it lands.
That is the part most sellers skip.
What's actually in the jar?
One serving is 250 to 500 mg of pure Shilajit resin. The number that matters is the fulvic acid content - the marker laboratories use to judge whether Shilajit is genuine. Eurofins measured this batch at 82.17%.
Purified Shilajit resin
Collected from Himalayan rock at around 4,000 metres, then purified and filtered rather than heat-dried. One serving is a pea-sized portion of 250 to 500 mg dissolved in warm water or tea.
250-500 mg per serving
Fulvic acid
Fulvic acid is the marker compound used to judge Shilajit quality, and the number most sellers never publish. Eurofins measured this batch at 82.17% - among the highest independently verified levels available. Diluted and synthetic Shilajit often contains very little.

Tested at the source
Every batch is screened in India before it ships, by Eurofins, using the KV2HD heavy-metal screening method (AOAC, EASI-CHE-SOP-30). Arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury are all measured against Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/915.

Human Pro Shilajit is Himalayan resin verified at over 82% fulvic acid, with heavy metals screened by Eurofins in India on every batch and the certificate published in full. Shilajit has become a crowded category, and much of what is sold is diluted, powdered or untested - with no fulvic acid figure given at all.

Why We Sell Shilajit
In 2020, we launched our first mushroom brand: Microdose Pro. It became a hit, featured in Men's Health
, Wired
, Quote
, and a dedicated article on NU.nl
, the biggest news platform in the Netherlands.
In 2023 we started Human Pro. Shilajit was the first thing we added outside mushrooms, and the first category where we could not find out what was actually in the jar.
Shilajit has become a crowded category, and much of what is sold is diluted, powdered or simply untested. Publishing the lab report is the cheapest honest thing a brand can do.
Our mission is the one we started with: educate, and set a standard. For Shilajit that means Eurofins testing every batch at the source in India, and publishing the certificate in full - fulvic acid figure and all.

By repurposing agricultural byproducts like sawdust, wood chips, and grain husks as substrates, we reduce waste while creating a nutrient-rich foundation for mushroom growth. These practices are complemented by renewable energy sources, including solar power and contributions from a local wind collective, ensuring a minimal environmental footprint.
These materials are carefully blended with minerals and sometimes yeast obtained from nearby breweries. This localized and sustainable approach ensures that the functional mushrooms we grow have an optimal, nutrient-rich medium tailored to their needs.
This method retains beneficial properties in the substrates while still eliminating harmful microbes. It also reduces energy consumption, enhancing the overall sustainability of our Dutch farming operations.
They improve fertility, attract beneficial organisms, and even serve as a natural deterrent against harmful fungi. While this process applies to the functional mushrooms we grow in the Netherlands, we continue to explore recycling solutions for high-quality plastic waste from substrate bags to further our zero-waste goals.
This setup significantly reduces the carbon footprint of our functional mushroom production. While not all our products are produced in the Netherlands, this farm reflects our commitment to sustainability.
These substrates, enriched with organic matter and fungal compounds, improve soil fertility and reduce the need for chemical fertilizers and pesticides. While this applies specifically to our Dutch operations, it highlights our broader commitment to environmentally conscious practices.
Unlike traditional methods that rely on mass-produced substrates and high-energy sterilization, we create substrates in-house, use energy-efficient pasteurization, and repurpose agricultural byproducts. These practices, exclusive to our Dutch farm, ensure higher-quality mushrooms while actively benefiting the environment.
