This type of encouragement and tracking maintains momentum in the absence of visible progress. Another win!
Get Quick Wellness Answers Without the Research Rabbit Hole

And if you don’t know how to ask GPT a question, then you can just ask it to teach you. Ask it to tell you how to prompt aka ask a question, and it will teach you to get the most out of it.
Learn to Actually Use Your Health Tracking Data
Maybe you’ve got an Apple Watch, the Whoop, or the Oura Ring. On a daily basis you check your HRV, sleep score, or resting heart rate every morning.
But let’s be honest, how many of us know what those numbers mean? How much of this information are we using to optimize how we eat, train, and recover, or are these just numbers and colours on a screen?
ChatGPT can help make sense of the data that’s already been collected and suggest ways to experiment with your routine based on patterns you notice.
Why was your HRV lower last night? What does a higher resting heart rate mean for your stress levels? Should you take a recovery day based on your sleep score?
Instead of staring at your health tracker and wondering what it means, you can ask ChatGPT for insights on potential trends and next steps. This allows you to really get the biggest bang for your buck when it comes to your health tracker and understanding your body.
Pro tip: I upload my monthly and weekly reports into ChatGPT for analysis and context. The more it knows about me, the more refined the answers.
Once Skeptical, Now Convinced
You might be surprised to hear that I resisted using ChatGPT for a long time. I’m the kind of person who still missed Kodak and the 35mm rolls of film.
I love technology and innovation but I am old-school in many ways.
Learning ChatGPT is part of my work and so I had to push through my own biases and scepticism. Once down the rabbit hole, I got a little playful and curious. I wanted to see for myself how much this ‘thing’ really understood. How effective it could be and if it would be relevant to me in any way, outside of my work.
Well, as you can see, I am now convinced that this latest version – ChatGPT 4o, is indeed a powerhouse when it comes to acting as a wellness coach.

I live by this rule in every aspect of my life, and when using ChatGPT it’s no different.
In fact, be sure to not take everything it tells you as gospel.
Expect at least 20% of inaccuracies, anomalies, or hallucinations. When inaccuracies pop up, they will. I encourage you to use them as an opportunity to sharpen your discernment, critical thinking, and research skills.
Then push back on ChatGPT with your opinions, your research, your counter-arguments, and it will correct itself and optimise itself further.
Even with its imperfections, ChatGPT is one of the most powerful real-time tools for cutting through the noise and fine-tuning your wellness approach. Not to mention that it’s only $20 a month. I mean where else can you get that kind of support for less than the cost of a sandwich and a couple of cups of coffee?
